American Staffordshire Terrier - Jewels - Watch Her Video!
Meet Juliet (aka Jewels)!! She is a 6-year-old, American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Jewels is very laid back and easy to please. She enjoys spending her days lounging on the couch, chewing on her favorite toys & nylabones, and romping around the yard. Jewels would love to be in a home with cats. She also gets along well with children. She is working on her leash walking skills and is currently in training classes. Jewels is completely house broken and does not need to be kenneled while you are away. She knows her basic cues such as sit and stay. She is always so happy to see her human when they get home and she makes sure to greet you at the door full of wiggles!Jewels does have some allergies and skin issues so she will need to be on a high-quality, grain free diet, and would benefit from weekly baths using hypoallergenic shampoo. Please Note: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our rescue dogs we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think that it's more important is to get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our rescue dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Jewels Adoption Fee is $175, which includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccines (including Rabies), deworming, fecal testing, 4DX Heartworm & Lymes testing, up-to-date on monthly heartworm preventative and flea/tick treatment, and certificate of veterinary inspection.
