Gerri ( We call her Izzy) is a smaller dog with personality plus. She looks and acts very much like an Italian Gray Hound so we think that is one of her breeds along with some other kind of maybe terrier or other. Izzy is a youn adult and full of energy as most dogs are until two of three yrs of age. Takig Izzy's breed into consideration she will need a lot of exersie (1 to 2 hrs in the morning and in the evening before bed time) play time is included counts as exercise especially if you have another dog she plays with. We have a fenced yard which works really well as they all play but Izzyis the fastest dog I have ever seen. Izzy came to us as a very shy dog. It seems as no one harmed her but they did not socialize her either. Once over her free she loves people. I would guess that she was a dog just tied out back and only petted when feed and she was under weight when she came to us. Izzy is all fun and games with people she knows and trusts but When a new dog or person enters our household she is nervous and will bark a lot. Izzy is now about 50% or more rehabilitaed on her shy issues we just have people come in and ignore her and then she will come and sniff them and it will progress to treats on from there. She is just so funny and lovable and we laugh at her when she jumps or does a crazy spin when she hears a new noise. This may sound mean but we laugh she knows she was being silly and it is ok.. Izzy is a possible choice of 2. When I think of Izzy I always think of the usy. Izzy is a lover and a winner in our hearts and is one of those dogs that has lots of personality and even when naughty can make us laugh.. If you have and patients, loves personality plus in a dog and can laugh at her antics as her training progresses then Izzy is just the girl for you. Izzy is, spayed, has had all her vaccinations, is Heart Worm Negative and has been wormed.
